Rosina Pontsho Liebenberg, Founder and Managing Director
Ms. Rosina Pontsho Liebenberg, a native of Marakana Village, leads Hope 1978 Mining and Engineering. She prides herself on being dynamic and driven; committed to innovating and growing with the clients her business serves.
Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Biochemistry) from UKZN, Rosina is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive expertise – having first entered the space in 2006.

Ofentse Letlape, Production Manager
Mr Ofentse Letlape is a highly motivated leader who is always eager to learn and
apply new skills and concepts . He is ambitious, hardworking and vigilant, and leads our team with pride and commitment.
He completed his BSc in Mining Engineering at
the University of Pretoria in 2013 and acquired his blasting certificate in 2017.
Ofentse brings over 13 years of critical experience in the mining sector – including eight years of providing specialist underground support – at Impala Platinum,
Evander Gold Mine and PGM Bentech .
